Meet Your Dietitians

Cassandra Olsen, MS, RD, LD

Registered Licensed Dietitian

Hey y’all! I am Cassandra (but go by Casey)! I am a registered dietitian, licensed in Texas, who is passionate about breaking diet culture and helping you sort through all the conflicting information you see on TikTok!

I got my start in nutrition working with athletes in Denver, Colorado but discovered I loved helping the community around me working to achieve sustainable nutrition and health goals. I was tired of the snow so I packed up my life and moved to Houston, Texas!

I worked for several years in clinical/hospital settings while I grew my private practice and made the transition to private practice full time in 2022. I work with all disease states, but specialize in nutrition counseling for behavior change, bariatric weight loss surgery, long covid/MCAS and hormone management. In my spare time, I enjoy playing volleyball, traveling the world to taste cultural cuisines and provide nutrition related services to under developed communities.

I believe in an anti-diet approach, guiding you to discover what works specifically for your preferences, budget, and lifestyle to maintain results long term. There is no magic pill, perfect food or ‘quick fix’ when it comes to health. This is way of living that works for you and I am here to support, educate and cheer you on as you achieve all your health, weight, and fitness goals!

Kristina Brown, MS, RD, LD

Registered Licensed Dietitian

Hi, I’m Kristina! I’m a Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping people nurture positive food relationships for a happy, healthy life!

I completed my Bachelor of Science at the University of Houston and received my Master of Science in Dietetics at Sam Houston State University in 2018. Since then, I have worked as a clinical dietitian in the hospital setting, with H-E-B providing 1:1 nutrition counseling and in public health providing general nutrition education to groups. These positions allowed me to hone my skills as a dietitian to develop relationships with diverse populations. While working inpatient, I recognized the need for more availability for nutrition education in the 1:1 outpatient setting. Shortly after my daughter was born, I decided to start my own practice to help meet this need.

I provide preventive nutrition education as well as Medical Nutrition Therapy for disease management. I have a special interest in mindful eating, garden to plate nutrition, culinary nutrition, and Women’s Health including nutrition during pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopausal, and for PCOS management. I’m also passionate about nutrition education for the whole family and recognize the importance of nutrition strategies that promote a healthy relationship with food, like food autonomy for children, positive food and body image language, and establishing family habits to promote total family health.

I spend my free time frequenting coffee shops, trying new recipes and cuisines, baking/cooking, gardening, and hiking with my husband, Austin, daughter, Emmy, and our pups, Lola and Indy.
